The Alpine Après Ski village will feature a bar, live music stage, dog grotto and private pre-bookable huts. The site capacity will be for 250 visitors so anyone interested in attending is advised to book a ticket early to avoid disappointment. The organisers Barr Hutte’s festive event space at St James Quarter started on November 8 and will open from 11am to 11pm, with the live music ending at 10pm, and access will be via Elder Street. The council decided to grant permission for one year and will then consider whether to extend the license beyond this.
